Matt B’s parents live nearby and on our most recent trip, we dropped into the Marino Fish Bar for Friday dinner. I got small fish and chips, with added salt and vinegar. The small was actually enormous. They also have battered sausages, sausages, fish cakes. We were in and out with a pretty large order for 6 people in about 10 minutes.
Their fish tastes really fresh, as do the chips, not soggy at all. I’d definitely check this place out next time you’re in Canterbury.
