New Century Chinese

My partner, son and I had a lovely all you can eat buffet at lunchtime and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the choice is limited at lunchtime for the buffet, all the usual favourites are included, sweet and sour pork, chicken chowmein, pancake rolls, chop suey, egg fried rice.
The white wine we chose was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean, white tablecloths and flowers.
The waitress was very friendly and food good quality.

DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE NOT GOOD WITH SICK STORIES… I was SO ill after visiting this establishment. I ate some duck which to be honest at the time of eating i thought was somewhat greasy.
Later on my partner at the time took me home and i told him i felt unwell. We put it down to wine and too much to eat. We went to bed, and after a few hours of sleeping i woke up in cold sweats. I felt terrible. Pure Agony as i sat on the side of the bed with stomach cramps. I laid back down and must have fallen back to sleep becasue the next thing i knew i was being sick all over my pillow and partner. Needless to say he was less than impressed and changed the bed for us. I was unable to work and was taken to the doctor. My doctor put it down to food poisening. In reality i should have done something about it but i didn’t. I will NOT be returning there and it has put me of duck for a while.
While this was not a good experience, the staff were efficient and very welcoming.
Shame, as it could’ve been a one off. I won’t be returning to find out however!
