Draw is the collaboration of David Rees and Alex Wells. They both studied BSc. Product Design at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) where they were awarded the «Most Innovative Product» at the Young Enterprise awards in 2004. After a few years apart gaining practical design experience the pair reunited to form Draw, a creative product and graphic design studio in Cardiff, Wales.
The dynamic duo provide design services as well as researching and developing their own products based on a design philosophy of «functional simplicity» i.e. well designed products that provide the function they were intended for simply and effectively whilst minimising material and waste. Their products, whether modern salt and pepper shakers or medical splints are also designed for reliability, long life and sustainability.
