The doctors, midwifes and nurses here are all brilliant — down to earth, kind and generous with their time. I’m happy to see any of the doctors at this surgery, although I’m a particular fan of Dr. Roberts who has four children, an open mind and not an ounce of pomp. She shares her doctorly duties and room with her husband Dr. Gray who is also a great doctor. This is getting like the Oscars… I would also like to thank the midwifes who are all amazing and often go unappreciated, one particular super-midwife got my sleepy newborn feeding. Atmosphere-wise the waiting area is ok, it could do with a facelift, a few more magazines and perhaps a kids play area, but where’s the cash coming for that then eh? My only real gripe is that the waiting times can sometimes be a bit long — anything from 10 to 40 minutes. If you’re not dying a quiet death then the upside is that during the wait ailments can be compared and friends made.
