M&G school of Motoring is a Driving School based in Caterham, with many years experience in the Driving School business, and provides professional Driving Tuition to customers in the Caterham, and surrounding areas.
It is proud of having a high First Time Pass rate and has both male and female instructors providing driving lessons in a calm and relaxed way to clients of all abilities.
As every pupil is different, the school provides Driving Lessons tailored to the individual pupil’s requirements and strives to help pupils gain their full driving licence as quickly as possible. Help is given to help pupils pass the DSA Theory Test.
The charges for the lessons are reasonably priced (contact us for latest offers), and lessons can be usually arranged to fit into a pupils schedule. Lessons can usually be started from home, college or place of work as arranged.
Renault Clios fitted with dual controls are used by the school and are maintained to a high standard by Renaults of Croydon.
History
Established in 1998.
The company was formed in 1998 by M. Thompson who had qualified as a Driving Standards approved driving instructor with a local driving school two and half years earlier. The company is run jointly by Mr. & Mrs Thompson both qualified instructors. The school has gained an excellent reputation with many satisfied customers and works hard to maintain its reputation.

Business Owner
Having become an executive engineer with British Telecom and been made redundant as an result of modernisation, I looked to use the skills I had acquired in dealing with people of all levels of ability in taking on another challenge, and decided to train to become a Driving Standards Agency registered Driving Instructor. Having learnt my skills with a local driving school I decided to form my own driving school. This I have done and both my wife and I work hard to provide driver training to a high standard to customers in the Caterham and adjoining areas.
