Jacksons Supper Bar

Cheshire really has to be one of the best places to reside outside London, fact!!! Not only is it full of leafy villages in serene picturesque surroundings, it also has some delightful hidden gems.
This place qualifies for sure. The fish and chips are grand indeed. In fact I really felt like that it was a professional fish and chip place. It is slightly hidden away off one of the main roads and in fact when we got there, I didn’t think it was there at all. As I approached it from one side it did resemble an unused social club from a distance. Thankfully on close inspection it is a chipshop which is more upmarket than your average haunt, with a seating area upstairs. The fish and chips were divine though, with the cod being oh so tender. Highly recommend it folks, Cheadle rocks… and not just because I’m Captain of their cricket club… but seriously check it out!

The fish and chips here gets 5 stars and is the best ive ever tasted, but ONLY when the fish and chips are fresh out of the fryer, otherwise it tastes like any other normal chippy. when you visit always insist on fresh fish AND chips and you will keep going back for more.

This is a traditional Fish & Chip shop. The food is always good and always either cooked to order, or only just cooked a few minutes before you arrive. The range is good, and the prices are reasonable. The only bad point is that as it’s situated near a school the road outside is all double yellow lines, but you can usually park a little way up the road near Cheadle Library. They also have a full service restaurant above the take away.
