Try to avoid at all costs going to this post office now it is based in WH Smith (which is on the High Street). The couple of times I have used it, the queues go on for miles and I have stood there for 40 minutes before. As it is on the second floor it can be reached by stairs or a lift but is not that disabled/​buggy friendly when you get there. Very cramped. There are also books on this floor and you can not get to the books easily without walkingr ound someone queuing for the POst Office. I have not found the staff to be that friendly or apologetic — they are probably fed up aswell.

The main post office is now in W.H.Smith which is a BIG mistake. For a start it is on the first floor and the lift is W.H. Smiths is not only small it is also very unreliable.
The post office has taken quite a bit of space from the book department. The queues are nearly always massive and snake right across the book section almost to the stairs. There are only ever a couple of counters open and the staff seem to change very frequently so there are always new staff having to learn the ropes. I never use this post office now as it is just such an awful experience. Avoid if you can.
