Hands down the best Chinese take away in Chester.
I have been working in Chester on and off for nearly a year and I have been recommended to try Ken’s Kitchen countless times yet this was my first visit.
Food tastes great and isn’t too pricey. Large menu choice from all different styles of Chinese cuisine. The food was all freshly cooked and tasted perfect. If anything the portion sizing was massive but who is complaining. Price wise I don’t recall a single item on the menu above a tenner and my entire meal was about £15.
The staff were lovely and efficient. Food took around 15 — 20 mins to be prepared and then I was ready to go.
No wonder all the locals rave about this place.

When I first visited Ken’s the food was excellent, but of late the food has become over oily and inedible.
Will not be using again as the last visit most of the order was dumped straight to the bin as consumption of food was difficult.
Bring back the old days and I would definately contemplate a re-​order.

In my opinion, Ken’s is the Marks and Spencer of the Chester Chinese take-​away scene. It offers great tasting food which has half the grease as its competitors. There is a price to pay for this however, and that need be known to those of you who are trying to keep a tight budget above the red. But as i say, the food is great and if you stop by you can actually see the kitchen. This always comforts me greatly as you know that your food is safe. Ken’s are very friendly and do a great range delivery, which most of the cheaper Chinese take-away’s in the area do not match. Our house is a good 3 miles from Chester but a well cooked ken’s will be with us within the hour. So i recommend for those of you looking for a tasty treat, a ken’s retreat.

Does the best spicey chips!
Generally found the service to be ok, sometimes feels like the staff are being a bit rude to you when they shout your order over to you.
not really a wide range of true vegetarian options available, but if you dont mind eating prawns, the meals are quite nice. most meals include either a rice or chips option.
Have found that i tend to get served quite quickly.
I havent really found another chinese take away in chester that offers the same standard of food at the same value for money as kens kitchen.

Alright oriental style cuisine, at alright prices, most prices include chips or boiled rice.
Although i hate how when you go there that they openly speak mandarin loudly in front of customers, and how you can never actually see what is going on in the kitchen.
never tried home delivery as its 15 mins walk from my door not even that, it does seem though that unlike other places they have more than one driver, so it would arive at a reasonable time
