Was told this is the best pizza in town and as I have nothing to compare it to, it’s true. Crab cakes were amazing and the king prawns had a delicious sauce to accompany the half dozen crustaceans. Peroni beer was cold just like Italians are. This was a good send off in a part of town that’s supposed to be rough around the edges but you wouldn’t think that once inside this beautiful restaurant. I’d come back again for sure.

Hidden away in a grungy looking building. The main restaurant looks a little tired. Cutlery and and glassware are well worn. The chef could do with a little more training the food was under seasoned and not always the best cooked. Service was quite slow and the atmosphere was very dull. I found their early diners menu didn’t represent great value. 1st course I had was pigeon breast on brioche with a red current sauce; the side salad wasn’t dressed, pigeon overcooked and the sauce had destroyed the brioch Main I had chorizo & prawn with penne with a side of garlic bread and cheese. Pasta was overcooked, on the whole the dish was good but nothing to shout about. Portion size was excellent. There are far better Italian restaurants in Chester but you can get an OK meal here,

Our friends they would take us to a place were they eat regularly so of we went to Pacinos one Saturday night area was not alot to be desired, the inside needs a revamp, but thought well as long as the food is good that will be ok. Starters was excellent, Main meal came and i had asked for a steak medium/cooked when it came there was blood oosing out of it, so i said the waitress could she just get it cooked a bit more, she came back and said the chef was cooking afresh one, by the time the fresh one came everyone on our table had finished there meal so i started to eat my steak again cooked medium when i cut in to it it was again oosing with blood so i just started to eat it not liking to say anything then the waitress went passed andshe said oh that doesnt look any better give it me back and i will see the manager and we will refund it, i said i just want something to eat the manager then came out and said he wasnt pleasedwith me for complaining as that is how a medium cooked steak should be cooked with blood oosing out of it, so beware if you eat steak here as it depends which chef is cooking!!!

Really good food which is very good value for money, the staff are friendly and I don’t know this but suspect it is family run and if not it does certainly give that effect. The only down side is the setting which if anything is off putting, get a taxi there would be my recommendation and a taxi to pick you up. The interior is a little worn and could do with a re vamp.

I am so glad this place is tucked out of the way of the main city, or you would never get a place here! We have had to book everytime we eat there, but the food is just divine. The problem is, you want most of the menu and it is very hard to choose. The service is very good and friendly and you just want to stop there all night chatting, eating and drinking. If you choose to go, please don’t tell anyonethis place needs to be kept secret, so not to be overloaded with tourists!

This is, without doubt, the best place to eat out in Chester. The location isn’t great and, as such, can be missed by those just visiting the city but this is definitely the place where the locals choose to eat out. It is always full and that is down to the consistently high quality food that is served, so booking in advance is definitely advised It is fairly small, and despite a recent extension still has that small family-run feel to it. The prices are reasonable and you’ll never feel short-changed. So, if you are in the mood for Italian, avoid some of the bigger names and seek out Pacinos and you too will become a regular customer.
