When shopping in town we nearly always visit swankys. it is situated on lower bridge st heading towards the river an has an ideal location to sit back and watch the people going by. good competitive prices without the mayhem of the high street.

Swankys is my favourite breakfast location in Chester. It’s situated probably just outside the city centre on the way down to Handbridge. The décor is modern and functional and there are usually tables free. The staff are friendly and helpful –and always serve with a smile.
The food is mostly made up of sandwiches, breakfasts and omlettes — but the quality is high and the prices are very reasonable.
This is a very chilled out and unpretentious little place (I can’t help but think the name is actually slighty ironic) — and I’ve never had a bad experience here. The specialty sandwiches are particularly good — and the lattes always manage to hit the right spot!
