Strada

Came here with family using tesco club card vouchers as didn’t fancy a ‘pizza only’ restaurant. Kids enjoyed their meals of pesto pasta and chicken breast with pasta. I had lamb shank which was very good (could have probably been cooked for slightly longer), and my wife had rib eye steak which she said was excellent. Service was attentive and very pleasant. Would be happy to come again.

Had a really nice meal here whilst visiting other attractions in the area. We downloaded a 25% off food voucher too which helped!
All of the food was lovely, and the service was great.
We were shocked by the size of the restaurant too, it looks tiny from the outside but seems huge on the inside!

This is the local restaurant of choice at the moment for me.
I am not a huge fan of pasta or pizza and I would also admit to a bias towards independent restaurants. However, I do like Strada’s Pesce (fish) and Carne (meat) dishes and the puddings too! Add to that a very good value lunchtime menu and the various discounts that can be found on-​line from time to time and you end up with a restaurant that is well worthwhile visiting.
My personal experience of the service here is that it is extremely good (friendly and efficient) and beats other nearby establishments. If you are having a busy day and want a good quick meal, this is the place to go.
[I should add that much of my experience is from eating here at lunchtime although I have always found the restaurant to be pretty busy when I have visited.]
