Care of Leather is a mobile leather repair service, covering Coventry and surrounding areas.

Established in 1991 we have many years experience of leather upholstery repairs, renovation and cleaning.

Our repair service: Scuffs, tears, holes, rips, panel replacement, colour loss, ink/​stain removal, car seat repairs and colouring, full colour restoration, re-​padding seat foams arm pads, back cushions and upholstery cleaning.

History

Established in 1991.

In 1991 we bought the Coventry/​Warwickshire area franchise for Uticolor UK, then specializing in car seat and vinyl repairs. By the mid 90’s leather upholstery was becoming more popular and we began doing more and more leather repairs, mainly for warranty and insurance companies and national and local retailers.

In 2003 we left the Uticolor franchise and became ‘Care Of Leather’ this gave us our own identity and allowed us to expand our area coverage.

In 2012 we celebrate our 21^st birthday, and continue to offer our services in the Coventry & surrounding areas,

After many years in the wholesale newstrade, I was made redundant in 1995 and join my father Brian in the leather upholstery business which was rapidly expanding due to leather furniture becoming more popular.

When not repairing and renovating leather I enjoy gym and swimming, reading.
