History

Established in 2010.

In my teenage years we were taught to make garments at school, and this continued at home. When my two daughters came along it was an obvious thing for me to make some of their clothes too.

Now I have taken a hobby and turned it into a business. I started felicity in the autumn of 2010, in my spare bedroom at home. Sometimes it is a little cramped but is quite workable!

I was born in March, in Cambridgeshire and moved to Bury St. Edmunds at the age of eight. I attended the local secondary school until I had completed my A levels and then started work at a bank. I married and had two daughters who are now grown up.

After many various jobs over the years, including waitressing, engineering, administrator, and airport security guard, I am now in the fortunate position of being my own boss. Last year, after taking voluntary redundancy, I decided to build on my part-​time dressmaking business and it has now grown and is something I really enjoy.
