Phill Godridge Driving School in Coventry has been offering driving lessons in Coventry since 1996.

History

Established in 1996.

Phill Godridge qualified as a professional driving instructor in 1996 after training with Acclaim School of Motoring in Leicester.

In 1997 Phill Godridge Driving School in Coventry was set up to service the driving test centres at Holyhead Road, Coventry and Mason Road, Coventry.

2003 saw the closure of both Coventry Test Centres and the opening of a combined driving test centre at Bayton Road, nr Bedworth. Phill Godridge Driving School then expanded to take in pupils from Bedworth and also started using the Warwick driving test centre for learner drivers on the South side of Coventry.

As the Internet became more and more popular, Phill decided to take his driving school in Coventry online. Not only will you find his driving school website offering driving lessons in Coventry, but also two other websites dedicated to learner drivers. Phill now runs one of the most popular online driving lesson websites on the net for learner drivers in Coventry and throughout the UK.

Business Owner

Phill Godridge is an ex Bablake pupil who grew up in Coventry and knows the city like the back of his hand. But he didn’t always want to be a driving instructor!

In 1995 Phill graduated from University with a degree in Physics and Business studies but the lack of available work at the time literally forced him into self-​employment. He put his knowledge of business to good work in setting up his own company in 1997 and the physics… well… it’s always useful ;-)

Having got married in 2003 he now has two children and a successful business.
