Impact Academy is a new martial art and fitness centre in the heart of Croydon. We run a wide range of activities which include Taekwon-​Do, Korean Kickboxing, Boxing, Kettlebells and Muay Thai.

History

Established in 2012.

Master Nardizzi had taught his Taekwon-​Do school for many years in a Church at Reeves Corner, Croydon. He took the opportunity to expand his Taekwon-​Do business by having a full time Martial Arts Centre, which will also be the HQ for his Taekwon-​Do Impact business. In 2012, development was underway at Impact Academy throughout the summer. The doors were opened in September 2012 with only 1 of the 3 halls operational. The only classes that were available at the time was Taekwon-​Do. However, Impact Academy has grown each year in classes and class size. As the classes grew, so had the development of the premises. There are now 3 fully functioning halls that are in operation throughout the evenings.

Master Donato Nardizzi 8^th Degree started Taekwon-​Do on 9^th July 1977 in Putney, London

Master Nardizzi founded Taekwon-​Do Impact in 1996 and recently, he opened Impact Academy which is a large full time Taekwon-​Do and fitness centre in the centre of Croydon, Surrey.

Master Nardizzi is currently the President of ITF England which is the National Association in England for all members, groups and associations affiliated to the ITF.

Master Nardizzi is also the Chairman of the ITF Children’s Education Committee. He is the co-​author of the study book and instructor manual of the Taekwon-​Do Kids Development Programme which is the official kids programme for the ITF. The programme teaches foundational knowledge of Taekwon-​Do to children as young as 3 years old.

Master Nardizzi was selected as an Olympic Torchbearer in the London Olympics 2012. He was nominated for the work he has done in Taekwon-​Do Kids Development Program and promoting Taekwon-​Do for children in the community.
