Currys

I head to Currys almost as a default every time I want to get something vaguely tech-​related. Usually I’m after photo paper and this is the only Currys that has actually been able to provide me with it. So, props to you for that at least.
Obviously i could have ordered it on Amazon. But I haven’t got the faintest idea about paper and I wanted some advice on which one I actually need. You can’t get that from no online store, let me tell you.
Apparently you can’t get it from no Currys store either.
I headed to the section, found the paper and looked around for a sales assistant… and couldn’t see anyone. Riiiight. So after wandering around for a bit, I came across a herd of them by the TV section all chatting away. I guess Currys don’t get many customers since these guys weren’t on it.
Well, whatever. I had my boyf with me who knows everything about paper (it’s a weird quality but it does come in handy in these situations) and I chose the right one then headed to the desk to pay.
Again, there was no one to be seen. Okaaaayy. Here I am, trying to pay for something and I can’t. You don’t get that from an online store either.
After about five minutes of looking around and staring at the back of the guy determinedly ignoring me over in the service station (I think he just thought it wasn’t his job, despite being an employee of Currys generally) I got served and left.
I’m giving this place 3 stars because it actually did photo paper, and at £6.99 for 50 sheets it was cheaper than I was expecting. But the lack of any kind of service or, well, people, knock it down a couple.
