Denham Opticians is your local independent Opthalmic Opticians offering both private and NHS funded eye examinations, supply and fitting of spectacles and contact lenses. We have an onsite lab providing a same day service for making spectacles (lens types and prescription limitation apply). Home visits are also NHS funded for homebound patients and we have an extensive range of good quality brands for a wide budget.

History

Established in 2008.

Denham Opticians is the brain child of the owner optometrist Mr Dipak Rana. When he moved to the area with his young family from London, saw there was a gap in the market for quality eye care for the locals. With over ten years of experience working in an established Opthalmic opticians, he felt he could introduce the same high quality service to his neighbors in Denham drawing on his experience and expertise. He has never looked back!

Business Owner

Our owner and resident Optometrist. Assuring that all the examinations are carried out to his personal high standards, Dipak performs all the consultations himself.

Dispenses are also generally conducted by Dipak, especially varifocal and other complexities. He insists on accurately taking the specific measurements and follow up collections where his skills are required.

Graduated from City University in July 2001 with an Honours Degree in Optometry.

Gained pre-​registration experience with a leading multiple, Southend-​on-​sea.

Qualified as an Optometrist in January 2003 after completing the Professional Qualifying Examination set by the College Of Optometrists.

Member of the College of Optometrists, the General Optical Council and the Association of Optometrists in the UK.

Worked for private independent ophthalmic practice for 7 continuous years.

Succesfuly attained the required points for CET (Continuous Education & Training) to date.
