We had the opportunity to run a shop, however, we decided that we didn’t want to add that overhead to our customer’s bill, meaning that we stay extremely competitive; besides there is no real way you can match a carpet except in the comfort of your own home. We don’t ever recall a quote of ours being beaten by the shops, in terms of like for like quality.

Carpet fitting has always been in the family, I’ve been fitting carpets since the age of 15 with my father; right back in the days when carpet was sewn up. At some point in my life I have worked for all the major carpet shops in Derby. I established Kacee Carpets in 1989 and became the first laminate floor fitter in the Derby area. Being perhaps the longest standing carpet fitter in Derby, with 40+ years experience ensures that you get the very best fitting available anywhere.
