We are a traditional greengrocer stocking fresh fruit and vegetables. At Savages we pride ourselves on freshness, quailty and price of our produce. English seasonal produce is always available and we try to stock as many local products as we can. We also stock a wide variety of products from around the world to satisfy the many different customer requirements.

Savages florist department has been established for over 50 years. We offer a personal service to cater for your individual needs, supplying both wholesale and retail customers with our flower arrangements and delivery services within the local area. Our team of experienced florists will be able to help you with all your floral requirements. We provide flowers for all occasions, including weddings, funerals and other events, and always have a wide selection of fresh cut flowers.

We also have a large range of plants for sale, from bedding plants to shrubs. We grow a lot of our own plants, such as Geraniums, Cyclamen, and Tomatoes. We have a wide range of products for the garden, such as compost, terracotta pots, concrete statues, bamboo canes, hanging baskets, grass seed, seeds, seed potatoes and lots more.

History

Established in 1960.

Savages is an established family business situated in the pretty downland village of Blewbury in Oxfordshire where the Savage Family have lived for several generations. The business was started in the early 1960’s by Tony and Pam Savage. Tony started as a horticulturist, growing small crops for local firms, leading to an increasing interest from the local community, and with that, Savages developed. Today it is run by the next generation — Richard and Emily Savage. Our aim is, and has always been to provide an excellent customer service and an excellent product at a competitive price.
