Established in 1940.

Middletons” as we are fondly known by locals and our customers was established circa1940 by Charles Henry Middleton who initially drove a tipper lorry delivering quarry materials to local builders. Son Reg. Middleton a qualified mechanic joined the family business and was instrumental in developing «Middletons «into the largest and most respected demolition company in the area. For 25 years Reg. and his wife Jean also ran C.R. Middleton Transport; a fleet of lorries dedicated to the delivery of goods throughout the U.K. on behalf of Peglers brass founders based in Doncaster.

Business Owner

Reg’s son joined the family business in the 70’s. Initially working with the fleet engineer he gained his C.P.C. (certificate of professional competence), served a full apprenticeship and developed another «arm» to the business — providing skip hire for trade, commerce and householders use. Charles the 3^rd now currently holds the position of Managing Director. With no number crunchers/​higher power to answer to (except maybe his wife), the M.D. can dedicate time to customer needs such as creating bespoke Waste Management packages and solutions.
