RIP The Malthouse. Always seemed to be popular with the under-​18s and a place many people seemed to be offered fights in. Perhaps it’s a good thing that the pub was closed. The site is, apparently, soon to be a block of flats. This assumes the economic slowdown doesn’t scupper the developer’s plans.
