No.18 Gallery is a gallery situated just off the Market Place in Driffield and specialises in the sale of limited edition prints of Yorkshire and the coastline. A lot of artists are from the area or are inspired by our beautiful county. Artists include James Wheeler, John Sibson, Martin Jones, Miranda Watson, Peter Watson, Emma Ball, Francis Farmar and Richard Tuff.
We also have a great selection of artists cards most having a Yorkshire theme and unique gifts including small limited edition bronze wildlife and jewellery.
An in-house picture framing service is also available at No.18 Gallery and runs in the workshop alongside the gallery. All the framing is carried out on the premises.
Meet the Business Owner
Karen C.
Business Owner
I have been in the art business for over 25 years. I studied graphic design at Maidstone College if Art and went on to work at West Kent College before moving to Yorkshire. It was here that I opened my first gallery.
No.18 Gallery has evolved from a gallery selling a variety of limited editions to specialising in images of Yorkshire. The landscape is so diverse and so to is it’s coastline. Coming across a new artist with a new twist is always exciting, and to be able to sell their work to my customers that appreciate the paintings as much as I do is a very enjoyable part of my job.
Driffield is a lovely little market town surrounded by many interesting villages, many of which nestle in the Wolds countryside. The colour of the fields change regularly with the effects of the farming and that is what appeals to artists especially David Hockney who has put the area on the map big time in the last few years.
