This used to be a fantastic old fashioned local butchers that served an old, long standing community, where the community were served loyally and customers greeted by name.
How sad it is now that it has become a ‘trendy’ deli, serving mainly take away baguettes and cappucinnos!
The butchers counter still exists but has been pushed out to the back of the shop and is no longer manned by the old fashioned knowledgeable butcher selling local meat, sadly. Such a shame, in my opinion, that the tradition has died!
