Dunster is full of tea shops, but this one is particularly good. Today we were just looking for a pot of tea and cake… but the delicious looking meals being served to other tables all looked very tempting and there was a constant stream of scones, cakes, savoury pies and tarts, soup and ‘doorstop’ sandwiches, together with a mind-​boggling range of teas and coffees on offer.
Tessa and Paul specialise in organic fare — but also provide a really impressive range of gluten/​dairy free cakes, savoury tarts and pies. They also happily provided soya milk as soon as we asked. Usually finding one gluten free offering on a menu is a bonus, but to find at least half a dozen was absolutely amazing!
If only I had reason to visit Dunster more often…
