We are established as a Charity, with a Trading Arm operating as a Community Interest Company to generate revenues through Commissions on the Sale of Products and Services and earned referral fees
History
Established in 2013.
With an ever growing Elderly population, particularly within the London Borough of Barnet and this set to increase by over 20% in the next decade, there is no doubt that there is a need to ensure that Elderly people, especially those living alone are NOT loneley.
Loneliness can adversly effect the Health and Wellbeing of those suffering from it. It speeds the onslaught of numerous other diseases such as Coronary Heart Disease, Dementia, Alzeimers Diease, High Blood Pressure to mention but a few.
We will befriend these Older people (remember, you do not have to be old to be lonely) who are most at risk of being lonely, particularly if they are the surviving partner of a long and happy marriage.
We will hold outings for Lunch and Dinner, trips to the Seaside, Supply Computers and printers and provide training on how to use them for research into areas of interest, communications with Family and Friends who may be overseas and anything else that may be required to improve their lives

Business Owner
Dr. Daniel R Walsh decided to establish this organisation as there is certinly a need as is evidenced from the Health and Wellbeing Strategy document «Keeping Well, Keeping Independent as published by the Barnet Health and Wellbeing Board and the phonominal projected growth in our Older Community, particularly those living alone.
Dr Walsh is currently making contact with all of the Local organisations within Barnet who are addressing the needs and wants of the older Community, and is looking to achieve a coordinated effort in raising awareness amongst the general public and in particular the Community within the London Borough of Barnet.
Dr walsh currently works as a Volunteer Befriender with AgeUK Barnet and has a current clear Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (Certificate Number 139 888 911) He is Security Cleared to both NATO and UK Governments SC Security levels (Uncaviated) and has lived in the London Borough for a number of years
