I’ve got a bad association with Edgware Hospital. Nan was transferred here to continue her recovery process after her illness this summer. She was transferred her twice, after returning from Barnet Acute Care.
It seemed every time Nan came to Edgware she got bitched out and caught another infection. The nurses used to feed her the regular food, not diabetic stuff and then bitch about the mixed nuts we bought her being bad for blood sugar. That is so unsubstantiated! I should have said“You are nuts, and that is bad for her blood sugar. Stop stressing the woman out.“
Edgware is a modern hospital but they have no café or anything just a little kiosk. The guy working it, gave me free stuff for Nan to eat though after he closed the till.
A few Jacobs crème crackers won’t make up for the overall crap comparison to nearby Barnet Hospital.
