Having worked near the Lothian Road store, I have found myself relying on Baguette Express many times for a lunch-​time fill-​up, and have never been disappointed by the quality of the bread, the fillings, or the service for that matter. Even during the often busy lunchtime rush, my trusty sandwich would be made promptly and with generous fillings. Try steak and cheese for a special treat if you’re in the mood.
I took a star away from 5* because the sandwiches could be a bit bigger, they are substantially smaller than French standards and my appetite noticed the difference, but it’s not a big deal when you compare Baguette Express to similar local sandwich stores.
