I considered calling this nameless coffee stand at George Square, Di Rollo, the name of the ice cream they sell, which is also printed at the top of the stand. However, I concluded it’d be safer to go with George Square Coffee Stand.
The GSCS (awesome I know) is ever present, and surprisingly is still around even though the bulk of the university students aren’t currently in town. The GSCS is extremelllllly cheap and does a pretty good coffee as well! However I did have THE WORST muffin of my life from there… I will quite kindly put the dour taste down to the fact that it was an extremely hot day and the muffins had been baking in the sun for a few hours by the time I got to them.
