Iconic Design is a small specialist vintage store in Edinburgh’s historic Grassmarket area — specialising in 20^th century and late Victorian design.

We also have a fine selection of vintage costume jewellery at affordable prices. All our stock is hand-​sourced and offers an ecletic selection of harder to find and quirky design pieces — more exclusive stock is available online but can be brought down to the shop on request for inspection.

History

Established in 2005.

Iconic Design have been trading in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh for 10 years. We have a fine selection of vintage homewares, costume jewellery, vintage tins, original art, 20^th century glass and ceramics, as well as Scottish collectables. We have limited opening hours in the shop — but are open ²⁴⁄₇ at our website.

Business Owner

I used to work as the Senior Curator at the Department of Prints and Drawings at the National Gallery of Scotland. I have visited the leading design museums and collections around the world and have used my knowledge acquired in working in the Arts fields for the last 22 years into hand-​picking special items for our Grassmarket store, as well as items available worldwide via our website. As a curator, all pieces on sale are carefully researched and are often items difficult to source. My experience has made Iconic Design one of the premier vintage homeware stores in Scotland.
