Jian is an fully trained and practising trained acupuncturist in Edinburgh. Jian completed a five-​year intensive course in the School of Acupuncture Moxibustion, in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the oldest universities of TCM in China.

She came to the UK in 1996 and worked very successfully in Sheffield, Southend-​on-​Sea and London.

Since she moved to Edinburgh with her family in 1999 she has been practising in Mulberry House at the West End, the largest complementary health centre in Edinburgh. She is a member of British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) since 1996, which regulates this profession in the UK and maintains high standards of education, ethics, discipline and practice to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times.

Being a Zita West affiliated acupuncturist, Jian has trained with Zita and her team in Zita’s clinic in London — the largest and most successful integrated reproductive health practice in the UK.
