History

Established in 2010.

Started by two brothers Jamie and Richard Curran who wanted a way to compare driving instructors and find the best one for them at the best price.

The service has won many awards including the Shell Live Wire grand ideas award and was short listed for the John Logie Baird Awards for innovation.

In early 2011 LPL began working alongside some of the UKs largest driving schools along with their base of local independent instructors and now provide the most comprehensive database of instructors and largest selection of deals among any national driving lessons service.

The LPL iPhone app was launched later the same year to wide acclaim and was featured by Apple and rated 5 stars by those who downloaded it.

Meet the Business Owner

Jamie C.

Business Owner

Jamie is a born entrepreneur and builds businesses to improve the world around him. He and his brother Richard were born in Edinburgh where they know live but spent time in Ireland and Spain when growing up.

Having graduated from Edinburgh University in 2009 they both already had lots of experience of running their own companies but were offered jobs in the finance sector and thought the opportunity would be enjoyable.

After a while the temptation to build their own business took over and they started Low Price Lessons​.com in 2010.
