History

Established in 1998.

Part of the Parliament House Hotel, MP’s Bistro is tucked away on Calton Hill, just a couple of minutes from Princes Street and Waverley train station. Refurbished in the spring of 2013, MP’s Bistro uses fresh, local ingredients to create menus with a distinct Scottish flavour. As well as offering an a la carte choice, the pre-theatre menu is very popular, thanks in part to the proximity of MP’s Bistro to Edinburgh Playhouse.

At MP’s Bistro on Calton Hill, our team of chefs make everything in house from the oatcakes to the desserts. .

With an EH1 postcode, MP’s Bistro is right in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. Waverley train station and the tram hub are a short walk away while nearby Princes Street is a focal point for taxis and bus routes.
