I lived above this shop for 2 years. It’s always been a bit of an eye-catcher. I’ve never owned a home. I still think I’m too young to be a home-owner. But in the future, if I ever decide that I’ll stay still for long enough and settle down, I want to buy stuff at this place. This is also all on the condition that I am rich enough to afford it. And am in Edinburgh. And probably numerous other factors. Let’s not get into it. The Meadows Lamp Gallery is kind of inconspicuous, sandwiched between someone’s private garden(I think it might be the shop owner’s garden, but this is pure speculation) and the big, all-consuming RBS. And it’s name is pretty accurate. It can easily be construed as a gallery instead of a shop. It’s an easily ogle-able place. I’ve even revamped the English language for it. I will leave further information of the contents of this shop up to you folk, and up to people who might actually have purchased something from here. All I can say is: it’s pretty. Go inside and play. But don’t touch anything.

Behind the magical name of this shop stands a collection of special antique items. The shop window resembles a night sky on a clear bright evening. There is a good range of antique retailers’ names. I am not an expert and wil not continue talking on the subject. I liked many of the items but the prices are a bit over my budget limits.
