Brillant place to buy fresh fish of the best quality. Locally caught fresh fish from the area.
Small shop in Magdalen Road in Exeter. Proper old fashioned fishmongers.
Loads of choice, very friendly and helpful even to fish novices like me!
Prices are very reasonable for what you get, so nice to be able to buy from a local business instead of having to visit the large shopping stores — you know the ones!
A little tip for the wise, if it is good enough for one of Britian’s best known chefs then it will be good enough for you. (I spotted a very well known celebrity chef buying fish in there recently).
Very easy to get to, there is a small car parking area just past the shop.

The fish here is fantastic — you get what you pay for.
They offer excellent preparation services for the fish and offer good advice as to recipees and cooking.
This area of Magdalen road has a couple of other nice food shots as well to stock-​up at to make it worth the visit away from the immediate city centre.
