Established by John Simpkins and Gordon Edwards in 1968, Simpkins Edwards provides the full spectrum of accountancy, business advice and tax consultancy services to a wide variety of businesses and individuals, many of whom come to us as a result of personal recommendations. Meet the Business Owner

Lynn W.

Business Owner

Lynn heads up the Business Group Department, dealing with accounts and tax issues for small to medium businesses. A wealth of experience in practical as well as technical issues helps her to advise clients in a friendly and digestible format!

Her formal qualifications include a degree in Agriculture gained at Seale Hayne College in Newton Abbot and she qualified as a Chartered Accountant following a training period with a local firm in the same area.

She joined Simpkins Edwards in 1997 to specialise in Agriculture at the start of the, then new, self assessment régime and helped to bring many of our clients into the routine of meeting the more rigid submission deadlines. In addition to Agriculture Lynn also deals with a wide range of local businesses across all sectors.

Lynn is also the firm’s staff partner and enjoys working with employees across the whole of the practice.
