History

Established in 1997.

AKT Consulting Engineers Limited was established in 1997 incorporating David T Emanuel Consulting Civil & Highway Engineers to meet the needs of clients requiring consultants with specialist skills and knowledge in civil and structural engineering.

I have lived in Felixstowe since 1982 when I moved from Somerset with Dobbie & Partners (now known as Jacobs). I worked on the Ipswich bypass and then the first phase of the Gt Yarmouth Bypass. I then joined Richard Jackson Partnership in Hadleigh where I became an Associate. In 1992 I set up by own Consultancy Practice, David T Emanuel Consulting Engineers.

I have also worked for Loss Adjusters Ellis & Buckle (now known as Cunningham Lindsey) where I was in charge of the Ipswich Building Team.

I am David T Emanuel, married to Angela with two grown up children and one grandson and one granddaughter.

In 1997 I set up AKT Consulting Engineers Ltd incorporating David T Emanuel Consulting Engineers and in November 2009 we moved to Hamilton Road, Felixstowe. I have now downsized the business, but still carry out work in the Felixstowe Area.
