Established in 2014.
Sensei Keith Burns (5th Dan) is the clubs Chief Instructor with over 33 years teaching experience. The clubs also have an additional three instructors who support Sensei Keith these being Sensei Trish Bruce (5th Dan), Sensei Denise Kattan (3rd Dan) and Sensei Raouf Kattan (2nd Dan).
Kaizen Karate Club stresses the importance of true Karate spirit to all our students and the emphasis is always placed on the development of self-discipline, improving self-esteem and fitnes levels.
For those of you who have the competitive edge, we regularly attend Karate competitions, regionally and nationally.

Sensei Keith Burns 5th Dan.
Manager
Sensei Keith has been teaching Shotokan karate for thirty one years. He started Karate in 1979 at the age of 13.
At the age of 16 Sensei Keith became the youngest Karate instructor, in Northumberland teaching adults twice his age.
Sensei Keith took his Shodan (1st Dan Black belt) in 1982 with the late Sensei Keinosuke Enoeda 9th Dan the chief Instructor of the KUGB
Sensei Keith continued his training and took his
Nidan (2 Dan black belt) 1984
Sandan (3 Dan black belt)1991
Yondan (4 Dan black belt)1998
Godan (5th Dan black belt) in 2009 with Sensei Andy Sherry 9th Dan
