Our team of hair experts specialise in Curly Hair, Brazilian Keratin Treatments, Hair Extensions and Bridal Hair. Our talented Colour Technician and Artistic Designer Stefania has helped the salon become the go-​to place in Glasgow for expert colour work.

Our beauty team specialise in Shellac, Vinylux and Minx Manicure/​Pedicures and ladies and gents waxing. Our Head Beauty Technician Louise has been with us for 6 years and is obsessed with perfection! (in a good way!)

Based in the heart of the city, on Hope Street, we’re perfectly placed to cater to our wide range of clientèle: from Glasgow’s thriving student community to the professionals that work in the city, we have a service to suit everyone.

On the salon floor our main product range is Keune, a family owned company with a focus on high quality, fashionable hair products. We also love to use Schwarzkopf Professional’s Colour 10 — the perfect colour option for people with limited time. Our styling ranges include our favourite products from Sexy Hair, GHD, Fudge, TIGI, Joico, American Crew and Redken.

History

Established in 2004.

It was whilst working with one of Scotland’s largest hair salon franchises, that manager Scott, started to see a new way of working that didn’t quite fit the mold.

Rather than become a flagship salon working specifically with one brand — he preferred to pick and choose the best products from various brands. ‘Hero’ products — giving his clientele a better choice.

Rather than pigeon-​hole team members into specific categories — he encouraged them to see the whole picture — as a result we have many stylists on the team that work as hair dressers AND beauty therapists, creating a complete head to toe look for their clients.

A new salon identity started to emerge — one of individualism.

Meet the Manager

Scott C.

Manager

Our salon manager started as an apprentice on the salon floor, aged 14! A tenacious and determined young lad, Scott, soon progressed to salon assistant and then qualified to work on the salon floor.

At the age of 21 he became the youngest manager and then franchise owner of the salon group he started with.

Over the years Scott honed his skills and built a strong clientele — the strength of which was it’s variety. From Glasgow’s thriving student community to city center professionals to families and clients of all ages — keeping his work varied he built a team around him of like minded, fashion forward stylists.

It’s this team that now form Belle & Blackley — everyone with individual talents and skills that cover the whole range of hair and beauty services we offer.
