Body Line Tatoo’s & Piercing

I’m asked all the time where I’ve gone to get my tattoos — for the past ⁴⁄₅ years, it’s been Bodyline.
Owned by the lovely Michelle, who also deals with reception, Bodyline currently has 2 tattoo artists Paul & Gino. I’ve never had a tattoo from Paul, but I’ve seen him in action and his work looks good.
There’s loads of flash art in books, and covering the walls, if you want to pick a pre-​designed and pre-​priced tattoo. However, I’ve gone for custom work here, purely because I’d rather have something unique. Pricewise, custom work is usually charged by the hour — which for big pieces makes total sense. Gino is very happy to discuss your ideas and provides his constructive thoughts on what would make a good tattoo. I’m really happy with the work he has done for me.
Painwise, anyone that tells you it doesn’t hurt is either lying, or a complete idiot. Get Emla cream from boots — it’s a local anaesthetic which makes it a bit easier.
At Bodyline, you’ll be given expert advice on how to look after your tattoo, and encourage healing — but give me a shout for tips :)

A couple of years back, my friend and I had aced our exams and decided to mark the occasion, or rather, mark ourselves. We had both fancied new tattoos for a while, so we decided on the spur of the moment to go and get ourselves inked. We had it on good authority that Body Line was a great place to go, with some of the best and most experienced tattoo artists in Glasgow, so off we went.
We were made to feel welcome, as we chatted to the friendly staff and browsed their impressive gallery of previous work on the wall. After much humming and hawing, I settled on a pretty shaded black rose to go on my hip. A little nervous, I went in and felt totally at ease as the guy kept me chatting and took my mind off the pain. Ten minutes of squirming and scribbling and I was done. I left pleased with my nicely detailed tattoo, which healed up very nicely. I was impressed by the high quality of work done here and the standard of service and aftercare, that makes this a highly recommended and trusted tattoo place.
