Decent food but the service for refills takes ages and its quite limited in food compared to the one in sauchiehall street. Also they have this rule where they don’t judge a child to be a child by age… They do it by height and its ridiculous because the height they quote is only 4 feet. Its disappointing to see that as many children under the age of 16 are over 4 feet and its not fair that they have to pay an adult’s fee because of a trait they can’t control. Its not like my brother asked to be over 4 feet did he? Absolutely disappointing and i don’t see myself coming here again. Food is what i expected but the service is about 1 star rating.

Decent choice of foods, I don’t like macaroni and cheese but it looked good so I tired it and it was delicious. Haven’t been able to come before as previous dining companions haven’t been keen but I’d go again :)

So in the spirit of re reviewing thats going on again i remembered i had recently been in this place again and thought id give them another review! ~Same score but its times like this i wish i could do half stars, i shall explain! It is simply down to the staff on till when we came to pay and during the meal. One particular gentleman whose name i didnt quite get. The food is still very tasty and with the same amount of massive choice as the last time i went so im really happy they have kept the quality up in that respect. During the meal he was quite inattentive and kept walking by us(a table of 9) to any other table he could seem to find which was a bit to my chagrin. This in itself is excusable, its busy, he might not see us, he may think that someone else is attending us, this i understand. The problem came when we paid, we had booked for 10 and one member pulled out so we advised that there was only 9 of us dining. First of all he saw someone leave and we said yup thats true thats why there is 8 people left and why we want to pay for 9. cue a lengthy conversation about why there was 10 place settings and basically about us being called for taking a free meal. Also there were additional drinks orders on which no one had and trying to get these removed after the lengthy discussion was a trial. This being said im not going to mark down a whole star for a lovely interesting place that does lovely food and deserts. Well worth a visit.

The food is ok in here. Not the best. They do have a big selection of food to offer, and it’s usually always busy. Would I come again? Maybe. Could the food be better? Yes. Are the staff nice? Yes. I seen a woman who had brought a bottle of soft drink in half drunk. They asked her to put it away lol. I think they watch you on camera lol

Jack of all cuisines, master of none. Some wings were average. All other dishes mediocre. Ice cream was good. Service was attentive, prompt & friendly.

A couple of my friends had attended the World Buffet on Sauchiehall Street on a lads night and were meet by raw food, mouldy fruit and not so great service, so of course we HAD to to try the Renfield Street location to compare the two and it was amazing! I had expected a cramped, overly busy restaurant, with that«buffet smell» and as it was warm outside and the food is all cooked fresh and much of it in front of the customers I had expected it to be roasting! The place was perfect, our tables spotless and the temperature was just right. I really loved the décor and loved even more that the food majority of the food was kept in a separate room away from the seating area. The food itself was delicious and well labelled, being a veggie I always find I’m stuck with rice, pasta and spicy veg however I completely gorged myself on sushi, a fresh salad bar, spring rolls, pizza and much more. I even got disappointed when I found out there was macaroni had over looked and I’d totally over looked it! There was never too much or too little food being made and there was none of those big metal containers like at school dinners, everything was in small bowls and was refilled regularly to keep things fresh. I also liked the cameras you could watch the chefs cooking on which was a really nice touch. The chefs were also really helpful in telling us what was in things due to allergies The desert bar isn’t in with the main meal food or near the warm food, it’s out in the open but far away enough to avoid anyone brushing against or stray fluff, dirt or boogies landing in it. It also isn’t all that noticeable without looking for the signs, which is great if your with kids(or myself) who’d happily bathe in the chocolate fountain without dinner first. My one main complaint was that there didn’t seem to be enough desert bowls for everyone and I felt, well actually I probably did, had to fight a army of 5 year olds to get one, they couldn’t reach the skewers for the marshmallows and fruit though so I think in the end I got the last laugh! Theres also no assigned tongs for things, well there is a colour code however it’s not advertised and it took me to my 2nd, 3rd maybe 4th to get it, I even went for a 5th I think just to be sure. Over all we had a great time, with great service and really great prices and have already set another night out there just to make sure we’re giving it the right review.
