My wife and I wanted something light and quick for lunch, soup or a sandwich or something of that nature. We found Crêpe a Croissant on the walk back to our hotel, which looked like a great café for lunch. I snagged their soup and sandwich combo, which is much easier on the pocketbook than a lot of the restaurants we’d eaten at in the UK.
For my combo, I got lentil soup and a chorizo, salsa, and cheddar hot sandwich. The soup was light and brothy, like chicken noodle soup without chicken or noodles. The sandwich was full of flavorful chorizo and white cheddar. The salsa didn’t really add much, but I was ok with that.
This was exactly what we needed on a cold, drizzly day.
