Dower and Hall have only two shops in the world, and the other is in London! So you know it’s a special place.
They sell many different types of jewellery from both independent British designers and jewellers and Mr Dower himself, who hand crafts the most precious rings to your specification, such as engagement rings! The service is really good and the store has just enough, but not too much choice, so you can always find something to your taste and usually budget too.
Not the cheapest, but great quality and designs for jewellery made to last and love.

Dower and Hall is another fantastic jewelers is Glasgow. Really we are spoilt rotten! I am always on the lookout for something different and unique and you don’t get much more unique than this cracking little store. Due to the exclusivity of the items in Dower and Hall the prices are high but my God you don’t half get what you pay for!
The staff in this store really know their stuff about precious metals, stones and pearls which I find is surprisingly rare in jewelers now-​a-​days. Most jewelers have sales staff as opposed to staff that are genuinely knowledgeable on the craft of making gorgeous jewelry!
My favorite items in Dower and Hall at the moment have to be the rings in the «Twinkle» collection. They are designed to either be worn on their own or stacked for maximum impact. The variety on offer is mind blowing and the combinations you could make are endless! The only reason I haven’t invested in any yet is because I simply can’t decide which ones to get!

Dower and Hall is owned by husband and wife team Dan Dower and Fiona Hall. Personally, I think this little romantic tidbit makes the whole place even better (if that’s possible) that it was before I knew this.
This jewellery store sells a fabulous selection of jewellery, from pearl necklaces to lockets, which are all designed exclusively for the store. (No cookie-​cutter jewelery here you know!)
If you’re influenced by Vogue and the like, you may be interested to know that Dower and Hall jewellery regulalry appears in the ‘glossies’. Plus, there are only four of these stores in the whole of the UK, and only one in Scotland. Come on, that’s got to be exclusive enough for you…

Located on the second floor of Princes Square, Dower and Hall stocks absolutely beautiful pieces of jewellery. Everything is designed exclusively by the owners and it is all handmade with amazing attention to detail. They stock silver and gold items aswell as semi-​precious stones, pearls and charm bracelets.
Like all quality jewellers the price isn’t exactly cheap but for special occasions like birthdays and Christmas it’s well worth a visit! For my 21^st I really wanted a locket and after traipsing round pretty much every Jewellers in Glasgow I realised that they are pretty hard to come by. To my delight Dower and Hall came to the rescue and I found the perfect locket with little charms attached to it.
The other great thing about Dower and Hall is the fact that they are constantly changing their stock so you know that you’re not getting something that is completely mass produced that everyone and their Gran has. It’s also exciting as every visit you will find something new so a trip here is never dull!
