If you didn’t know, it’s unlikely that you’d realise that this concession is a Gamestation at all. Instead you’re more likely to think of it as just ‘the video game section of Blockbusters’. In fact, in reality, it’s kind of a mix between the two. This means that you get the benefits of both. Not only can you rent video games, you can also buy and sell them. Plus, you can trade in old boring games and swap them for less old, less boring games. Result? Result. Because of the nature of the concession, you can also get some great deals. For instance, if you buy a games console — you can get a deal whereby you get a certain number of free game rentals. So, if you’re thinking about getting a concole(either new or used) it might be worth your while to check out the deals here.

A small concession inside Blockbuster, despite it’s size it seems to have most of the stock you’d find in a full size version of the store, with the added bonus that you can rent a film or buy some overpriced popcorn /jelly beans while you’re in. As mentioned before, the deals on second hand games are excellent, and I remember having a lengthy discussion with a guy that worked here about a Gamecube game called Harvest Moon a few years back, thus cementing my official position as a sad c***.
