The Garrowhill Sub Post Office on Barrachnie Road is a bit of a strange one.
If you’re a local, you’ll know that it changes often. It was inside an R.S. McColl — it now frequents the same building as a hairdresser.
It’s a handy wee post office, nevertheless. Not as many amenities or stock as some, but they offer all of your basic services. I drop in here once in awhile when I have a package to post, and they’re always very quick and helpful. Very sharp about their lunch and closing times, though, so make sure you spare yourself plenty of minutes before they close, or they might not get to you.
