Greggs

This food outlet has & is still popular with the commuter & shoppers alike as its very close to Queen St railway station. It has all the usual Greggs facilaties & is usually always well stocked. Staff friendly (mostly) & a great quality of food. The reason for only 3 stars is that this company keeps removing foods that the customers like e. g rolls & potato scone, french facncies & a few other cakes have vanished as well. On the whole though would reccomend them though but don’t always count on your favourate food being around

I usually love Greggs’ work… I have another review attesting to that fact… but this one is just meh…
I popped in the other day en route to work for a bacon sarnie and a cuppa. The large queue took a while to be served (again with the issue of not enough counter staff…*shakes fist*) unfortunately, I’ve come to expect that, so no great shakes there… but it was the food that was truly a 2 star experience… the bacon was dry and overly chewy; who can be bothered by that of a morning??? Ugh! The roll also felt a wee bit hard, but to be honest, I REEEEEAALY couldn’t be bothered going back to complain (would’ve usually, but I had a huge morning in work, so didn’t want the hassle!!)
As I say, normally a Greggs-​fan (dunno if that’s something to be admitted, to be fair!!! LOL) but this one will deffo not be having any further visits from me… should I need a bacon roll, I’ll go to the Sauchiehall St branch, much better!
