Jack In The Box

I went in this store and was pleasantly surprised i thought it was going to be soo expensive but yet you could still find some things for a few pounds ie. pocket money. The toy shop is bright and has a few different types of toys including some wooden toys which i always feel although they can be expensive they can last longer than some of the plastic toys that are on the market at the moment.
This toy shop is located in the centre down near the job centre you wouldn’t see it normally if you didn’t know east kilbride shopping centre as it is set slightly further down than the main walkway but it is definately worth looking out for. The staff are friendly and this i feel is imperative when dealing in a shop mainly aimed at children. The prices do vary though its not all cheap considering the deals you can get on toys else where such as the supermarkets but you never know what you might find in here so go see!

Jack in the Box is part of the dying breed that is an independent toy shop.
It is located in East Kilbride Shopping Centre close to Marks & Spencer and if you have children, you need to take them here.
The store is set out in a real child friendly way, with most toys set out on low shelves so children can see what is on offer.
Now you won’t get the same kind of selection of toys in Jack in the Box as you would in Toys R Us, but then again, you won’t get anything like the service you get in Jack in the Box at Toys R Us. So there’s payback for everything I suppose!
The staff are truly knowledgeable about the products they sell and while some items are more expensive than supermarkets and other chains, some are not, so don’t believe the myth that independent toy stores are more expensive!
My daughter absolutely loves this store and her favourite part is the pocket money shelves.
This area is close to the till and offers an array of cheap and cheerful toys for her to spend a few pence on including super bouncing balls, mini telescopes and novelty pens. There’s also a selection of joke products and tricks such as Whoopee Cushions!
If you are in East Kilbride with children, I highly recommend you pop into this store!
