Junction 25 are the young team of Glasgow performance art: a Tramway education project that has learned from the likes of Forced Entertainment to create a youth theatre that really does away with the stereotypes. Their shows are intimate, yet challenging: despite the strong creative direction from Tashi Gore and Jess Thorpe, the subject matter is generated by the young people and can be surprisingly challenging.
They use a loose format, with plenty of humour and moments of revelation to examine both the boundaries of theatre and the experiences of youth: usually charming, always witty, they predict a healthy future for Glasgow’s live art and theatre tradition.
