History

Established in 2010.

Macs Glasgow, located in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, is a newly opened ‘vintage chic’ hair and beauty salon with boudoir-​esque treatment rooms.

The salon floor is upbeat with background music playing for your enjoyment, whilst the luxurious treatment rooms are a haven of relaxation, with calming music, adding to the ambience. Refreshments are available during your visit, with champagne being offered for those special occasions.

Bringing the complete hair and beauty experience to the West End, Macs provides all the must have treatments under one roof. Whether you want highlights or 3D nails, the professional and friendly staff are on hand to make you look beautiful.

We’ve also taken Hair Extensions to a new level. Proud to be the First Approved Salon in Glasgow, Scotland even, to provide/​apply Easilocks Hair Extensions, the newest ‘celeb must have’. Already taking Scotland by storm! April 4^th 2013 also sees the Salon introducing a weekly Make-​Up Masterclass with Laura.

Hello my name is Melissa, I have been in the beauty industry since the age of 16. I started out doing night classes whilst studying for my highers and I have kept going from there! It has been my dream to have my own salon and recently my dreams came true! I worked closely with the Princes Trust who helped me start up my business. Now as a Princes Trust Young Ambassador I regularly give inspirational talks to young people wishing to start up in business.

I am very much into recycling! The salon uses all energy saving light bulbs and we built the walls from all recycled products.
