This is now the anchor food store for Braehead since Sainsbury chucked themselves into a B&Q. Better stocked than the Silverburn M&S, the food section of this store was expanded and offers excellent selection of all of your marky favourites. Couple standard points about M&S: — As soon as you figure out where stuff is located the staff will move it someplace else — They have a deli bar in one corner — Why would someone want to sip wine while pensioners check out the chicken thighs next to them — Why do all of the fruit and veg have to be the same size? It is a wasteful practise that does not make sense. Sometimes I like a small onion. Back to this store — I have bought clothes in here. Bloody convenient when you are strapped for a reasonable tie. I know they sell women’s clothing due to the frustration I have experienced when blocked by females who are perusing age inappropriate clothing that would not fit over their ankles, let alone the rest of them. So that is covered. Marks works well. They have a lot of stuff I cannot get anywhere else. Buffalo Campagna Mozzarella is a lovely thing on pizza and somehow unless you go to a Specialist cheese shop, M&S have the market cornered on this stuff. There are a couple other things that they carry, but you probably have your own list. This place has what you need and with its own entrance is exceptionally convenient.

This isn’t just Marks & Spencers, this is slow baked, cheddar cheese, super-glam, super sized, heavenly Marks & Spencers… I love Marks & Sparks and this one is my favourite! It’s huge and has so many goodies packed inside, womens clothing, mens clothing, homeware — which always has stunning cushions and throws — bed linen, bathroom items and not forgetting their delcious food court! When it comes to food Marks & Spencers can do no wrong, everything here is mouthwateringly delcious and you know it’s never just a loaf of bread you’re getting here, it’s a Marks and Spencers wholegrain, baby soft, melt in mouth loaf of bread. When I’m on my shopping trip in Braehead I always have to head in for a dose of Percy Pigs, Percy Piglets or Fizzy Pig Tails… mmm, so good! It’s also really handy as they have a Bureau de Change here so you can get your holiday money, they also have a pretty competitive rate which is ace!

Great shop, well laid out with a sizeable womenswear department, stocking all the ranges including per una & Autograph. Also gents, kids, home, technology etc. not to mention the fantastic food department on the lower floor. Well worth a visit, but can be a bit busy at the weekends, especially now at the run up to Christmas. Staff are very helpful and attentive.

Really like this Mark & Spencers, spread over two floors. there is a good food hall downstairs, with an enterance from outside to save cutting through the shopping centre. Large selection of womens and mens clothes too! Home and furniture is upstairs. Also there is a coffee shop. Cash machine on ground floor that is always quiet, saves waiting in queues at bank!
