Retro stuff seems to be coming back into fashion these days, and what better way to reminisce of the good old days than to play your favourite 2D pixelated character on a CRT television set!
Max-​XP Gaming offers up a wide range of yesteryear games like Sonic, Mario & Mortal Combat to name a few, and they also have a wide range of board games for you to try. Before I came here I only played Monopoly but I’m now a dab hand at other ones too :-)
They also serve food to keep your energy levels up whilst your tapping away on those controllers. I’ve found it hard to pick a favourite cake in this place because they’ve all tasted so nice, and it’s all home baking so no shop bought junk here!
I usually buy a toastie & a can of irn-​bru, then I’ll treat myself to a cake & a cuppa tea.
So next time you are in town you should pop in & check the place out, you won’t be sorry :-)
